Inspiring Home Renovation

This is the busiest time of the year when it comes to interior design projects such as renovations and although many of us would love to be able to renovate every inch of our home, chances are that a few changes can improve the overall feel of our interiors.

Recently designed by Erika Gervin of South Harlow Interiors (previously featured here, here & here – you really should see these posts! :)), the renovation of this home consisted of the living room, bathroom and laundry room. The lovely family who lives here wanted an update to the otherwise track home and there’s no question that they got a home with plenty of character and inspiring ideas!

Take notes on the details shared by this talented designer!

Inspiring Home Renovation

This home was beautifully renovated but keep in mind that sometimes, all we need to make our home feel renewed is adding some new paint, changing the furniture layout or replacing a few pieces and adding some inexpensive decorative elements.

Furniture Layout

The designer, Erika Gervin of South Harlow Interiors, did a great job with the furniture layout. You can easily entertain in this space or get comfy on that gorgeous sectional with a bowl full of popcorn in one hand and the remote in the other.

Cabinets

Cabinets were custom-designed by the designer with a custom navy blue color, similar to “Benjamin Moore Hale Navy”.

Color Scheme

A mix of navy blue, ivory, greys and browns add depth and interest to this living room.
